Sod Installation in Durham, NC

This backyard in Durham was in rough shape going into the job — thin grass struggling under a heavy tree line, with bare and washed-out patches from years of shade and root competition. We stripped out what was left of the old lawn, reworked the grade so water wouldn't pool near the fence line, and laid fresh sod across the whole backyard, cutting in carefully around the existing rock beds and plantings so we didn't disturb what was already established. Once the sod was down we covered it with a layer of straw to protect it and help it root in before the first mow. Took the crew about two days start to finish, including cleanup and hauling off the old material. Homeowner went from a yard they were embarrassed to have people see to a backyard that's actually usable again.
